Amazon Japan has started taking pre-orders for the upcoming artbook for the Gravity Rush games. The 256 page artbook is titled “Gravity Daze Series Official Artbook”, which seems to suggest that it will contain artwork from both Gravity Rush games. The cover for the new art book hasn’t been revealed yet, but it will be illustrated by Takeshi Oga, who worked on the concept art for both games. In addition, the art book will contain a “GRAVITY DREAM” comic (probably similar to the “Gravity Days” comic featured in the Special Fan Book of the original Gravity Rush). The subtitle for the art book reads “Duya Reyavi Saeju”, in what I assume is the fictional “Gravity Language” used in the game. In Japanese, it reads “yorokon dari, nayan dari” loosely translated as “pleased, worried”.
Amazon Japan is selling the book for ￥3,996, which is around $35 / €33, and lists the release date for March 21. Given the quality of the concept art for Gravity Rush, I’m certainly looking forward to it! There’s no word on a possible English version of the artbook.
