SIE’s Yasuhiro Kitao has tweeted two screenshots recently, showing the in-game announcements for not only the upcoming NieR: Automata costume DLC, but also the Dark Angel Costume DLC. The latter had been accidentally released alongside The Ark of Time DLC, but was pulled from the store within a day of its release. While some managed to download the costume before it disappeared from the store, a lot of people missed out. It wasn’t clear when the costume was going to be made available again, but the in-game announcement suggests it will finally be released alongside the NieR DLC.
While an exact release date still isn’t known, the NieR DLC was scheduled for an April release in Japan so it should be available soon. The DLC is also confirmed for the West, but it will likely arrive at a later date. Hopefully it won’t take too long!
