The Japanese PlayStation Store, which launched in June 2010, is celebrating its 7th anniversary. To celebrate the occasion, Sony had asked Japanese fans to vote for the games they’d like to see made available in the monthly lineup of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. The top three titles that were selected were Killzone: Shadow Fall, Child of Light and the PS4 version of Gravity Daze (known as Gravity Rush Remastered in the West). As a result, these three games will be available to download for free for PlayStation Plus subscribers from Wednesday, July 5, 2017 to August 1, 2017.
While Gravity Rush Remastered has in fact been part of the free games list for PlayStation Plus subscribers in Japan and Asia before (during September 2016), the fact that this was the result of a user vote means that the game is allowed to make a repeat appearance. So far, Gravity Rush Remastered hasn’t been made available for free in the NA and EU PlayStation Store.
