The official US PlayStation blog has opened the polls for their Game of the Year 2017 awards, and naturally that means it’s a chance for us to vote for Gravity Rush 2! The game has been nominated in the category “Best Art Direction” and “Best PlayStation Console Exclusive”. Surprisingly Sony didn’t add it to the nominees for “Best Soundtrack”, a category which I think it would have deserved to be in. That said, you can in fact write your own game when your preferred choice isn’t available. Personally, I selected Gravity Rush 2 in the following categories:
- Best PS4 Game (write-in)
- Best Soundtrack (write-in)
- Best Art Direction
- Best PlayStation Console Exclusive
You have until the end of the year to vote, but why not head over to the website now and show your support for Gravity Rush 2? Even though it realistically doesn’t have a chance to win in most categories other than perhaps Best Art Direction, this is still another chance for us to show Sony we didn’t forget about the game.

I also mentioned how tragic it was that the game was son under loved that it wasn’t even mentioned on the VGAs. I played most of the other nominees and this game was just as good as all those but it wasn’t as popular, it didn’t sell despite being a good game.
